Key findings, inspector's opinions and reasons for judgement made
This was an unplanned inspection carried out to assess the effect on safety, if any, of the recent changes to ownership of GE Healthcare Ltd, the licensee for the Grove Centre nuclear licensed site.
From discussion onsite and from the evidence presented it was concluded that there are no significant changes to the management arrangements for the site made under LC17 or the capability and capacity of the site's organisational capability as required by LC36 to ensure the safe operation of the licensed site.
Conclusion
Based on the evidence presented I am content that the change in ownership of the licensed site does not adversely affect safety and therefore and inspection rating of Green is merited under the ONR inspection rating guide.
