Director of Security Regulation
Paul joined ONR in 2017 as the Director of Security Regulation for the civil nuclear industry. Nuclear Safeguards was added to his portfolio following BREXIT in 2020. After a short period as both the Security and Safeguards, and Technical Director, Paul was appointed interim Senior Director of Regulation and Deputy Chief Nuclear Inspector on 1 July 2024, and also became an Executive member of the ONR Board.
