The ONR publication scheme describes the categories of information we publish and explains how to access that information.
The Freedom of Information Act requires every public authority to have a publication scheme, which informs members of the public about the information that is proactively available. and the Environmental Information Regulations require us to make environmental information available.
The scheme must set out ONR's commitment to make certain classes of information routinely available, such as policies and procedures, minutes of meetings, annual reports and financial information.
ONR has formally adopted the Information Commissioners model publication scheme.

If you are unable to put your request for information in writing, you can contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau to help you do so or to make the request on your behalf. Alternatively, please e-mail ONR with your phone number and we will contact you.

Charges for information
Nearly all information relating to ONR is accessible from this website free of charge. There may be a charge if you intend to re-use data for commercial reasons, or if you request multiple hard copies of information.
Individual publications may have a cover charge. This will be stated in the details of each publication.
